JTS offers one voluntary vision plan through Blue Shield of California Life & Health: Vision Plus 10/25/130.
What’s covered
A comprehensive eye exam runs a $10 copay in-network, or reimbursement up to $60 if you go outside the network. Lenses are covered in full after a $25 materials copay, and you get a $130 allowance toward frames or contact lenses in place of a full pair of glasses. Exams and lenses are available once every 12 months; frames, once every 24 months.
Network tip
In-network providers apply your allowance directly at checkout. Go out-of-network and you’ll pay up front and file for reimbursement, which is capped lower than the in-network benefit.
